Obituary for
Janeera Nickol Gonzalez (Gonzalez)
A beautiful light was tragically put out and the world will forever miss the beautiful spirit of Janeera Nickol Gonzalez. Janeera was like a breath of fresh air after a summer rain. She is described as an “old soul” by her loving parents. Her light was already bright on July 18, 1996 when Juan and Lucia welcomed their little girl into this world. She was an easy going sweet child that was so very easy to raise. Janeera never met a stranger and loved all people. There was not a prejudice bone in her body. She was wise and always gave great advice to family and friends. She had a remarkable sense of humor and made people laugh. She grew up to be so talented. Janeera taught herself to play the guitar, violin and ukulele. Janeera loved all music especially country and old rock. She was a cat lady that loved her grey tabby. Janeera loved the outdoors and would rather be outside then inside any day. She loved and adored her family. The family enjoyed being together and watching old movies. She and her mom has a special relationship and Janeera was always buying mom flowers.
Janeer graduated from Irving High School and was about to graduate from North Lake College with a degree in Kinesiology. She intended to attend University of Texas at Arlington in the Fall. After college she planned to travel around Europe.
Janeera joins in heaven her grandfathers, Bernardo Reynolds and Enrique De Leon, her cousin Pete Reynolds and her aunt Blanca Reynolds. She leaves behind until they join her in heaven, her devoted parents, Juan and Lucia Gonzalez; her brother, Johnny Gonzalez; her sister, Jazmine Gonzalez; her grandmothers, Guadalupe De Leon and Margarita Reynolds; and a host of aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
Although deeply missed, her family is confident that Janeera’s light is shining bright in heaven and she will be jumping up and down with a gradient smile to welcome them home with her.
