Obituary for Allyson Mary Niksich (Niksich)

Allyson Mary Niksich (Niksich)
Motivational speaker Denis Waitley claims that “A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside.” Many smiles are warm and hospitable, but few are captivating and reassuring to others. A beautiful woman enraptured many with her love, her charm, her desire to help, and her “infectious smile.” Allyson Mary Niksich brightened the life of her friends, her family, and all who knew her through her warm heart and amazing smile.
During a warm Monday, on July 12, 1993, a beautiful daughter was born to her excited parents, Terry and Tammy. Unlike some babies, little Allyson came into this world accompanied with her twin brother, Christopher Niksich. Growing up with her brother as well as her sister, Ashlee, little Allyson blossomed into an energetic little girl who loved cheerleading and being with her family. As she grew up, Allyson deeply cared about others and felt a desire to help people as her profession. As a result, she enlisted into the United States National Guard at the age of 17 and joined the ranks after her graduation from high school. Allyson progressed up to become a Sergeant with the National Guard in which she led others and strove to help strangers in times of need. Allyson went on reserve with the National Guard and became a police officer for two years. After leaving the police department, she strived to obtain her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the American Military University. No matter what she did in life, whether it was running through obstacles at boot camp or studying for the next exam in her classes, Allyson worked as hard and diligently to better serve others.
When Allyson wasn’t working or going to school, she took advantage of so many of life’s beauties. One of Allyson’s passions included going to or watching America’s favorite pastimes-baseball. She was an avid baseball fan who especially loved the Chicago White Sox and enjoyed going to Texas Ranger baseball games in Arlington. Another beautiful aspect of her life was her boyfriend, Michael. Allyson and Michael loved to spend time with each other in their home in Celina, Texas. Allyson enjoyed her beautiful, sleek black cat, Gracie, who she spoiled and petted anytime she was home. She and Gracie had a special bond that only an owner and a pet can form and keep. Amongst all the people and elements that made Allyson’s life full and beautiful was her family. Allyson’s family loved her so much, and she loved them just as fiercely. She was always ready to be with her family or assist her family with whatever came up. Many aspects of Allyson’s life were formed around her family. She was a daughter, a sister, a twin, and a tía within her loving family. Allyson fulfilled each role in her family with all of her heart. She loved her life and her family so dearly.
If smiles, hugs, kisses, and laughs could make one stay, Allyson would have never left her loved ones’ side. However, to the great sorrow of her family, her boyfriend, her friends, and all she knew, Allyson passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Celina, Texas. Allyson without a doubt made life more beautiful and wonderful with her desire to help others and to see others happy. She loved each person in her life very much. Allyson’s love and enrapturing smile live on through the thoughts and memories of her loved ones. To carry on Allyson Mary Niksich’s caring heart is her loving mother, Tammy Martinez and her husband, Hector; her devoted father, Terry Niksich and his wife, Melanie; her siblings, Ashlee Calhoun and her spouse, Rachel, Christopher Niksich, Melissa Martinez, Ben Gouwens, Karen Gouwens, Elizabeth Gouwens, and Natalie Gouwens; her boyfriend, Michael Melling; her niece, Adalyn Calhoun; her nephew, Cade Calhoun; her grandparents, Gustavo and Maria Martinez; and her godparents, Paula and Dave Larson. Allyson Niksich is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Velma Marcum and Robert and Paula Niksich.
