Life Story for Jesus Celis Jr.

Jesus Celis, Jr. had two loves in his life, his family and the Dallas Cowboys – in that order. Jesus Celis Jr. was a wonderful father, a devoted friend, a doting brother and a caring son. He was just an amazing person at heart. Once his father was no longer in their home, Jesus stepped up to be a father figure to his siblings. He taught his siblings manners and more importantly how to love – especially each other. His legacy is the strength of his family.

With a heavy heart, his family feels he has prepared them well for his departure. Since they can recall, he has hosted family gatherings to bring them together and watch the Dallas Cowboys. It was in these family gatherings that he has shown them how to love each other no matter what. Soon, the teaching to his family started growing to his friends and everyone he knew. He always welcomed EVERYONE!! Thanksgiving at his house was always a great time of laughter, sharing and enjoying good food, good friends and a loving family.

Jesus was full of love and full of life. He hesitated to take, but was quick to give. He was a busy man, but was also always available for family and friends that needed advise or help. He always had a helping hand, and a shoulder to lean on. He was strong but knew how to be kind. He was a beloved friend, a great companion, a devoted father, and he was the heart and soul of his family. He will be missed by many due to the unimaginable amount of hearts he touched, because he was a light. His family is saddened without his presence, but we are still enlightened by his spirit. For in us he lives, and the memories he left us with, will be ours to treasure forever.

Jesus’s light began to shine on this earth on August 4, 1981. That same light began to shine in heaven on July 29, 2017 as a result of a tragic car accident. The family knows he will always be with them in their hearts. He is remembered by his family for all the love he introduced into their lives. His passion for the Dallas Cowboys and the love for his family is the strength that has held them together during this hard time.
He leaves behind, until they meet again in heaven, his three beloved children, Elleana Marie Celis, Nathan Arcelio Celis, and Cristian Alexander Celis; his adoring mother, María Isabel Celis and his brothers and sisters, Yolanda Rivera, Angelica Soto, Lorena Celis, Cristina Celis, Víctor Celis, and Isabel Bonilla. He also leaves behind his nieces, nephews, cousins and many many dear friends. He joined in heaven, his little brother, also named Jesus.
